Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Use govern your access to shopydash.com, the Shopydash buyer app, the vendor app, and related marketplace services. By creating an account, accessing the service, or placing an order, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Shopydash is built for university students and campus communities in Nigeria. You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. We may require university, email, phone, or other verification before allowing particular features.
What Shopydash provides
Shopydash provides software and marketplace tools that help students discover products, create vendor stores, communicate, place orders, pay through the available checkout flow, coordinate delivery or pickup, and manage order outcomes.
Shopydash is not the owner of every product listed on the platform and does not make a product, condition, safety, authenticity, availability, or delivery promise on behalf of a vendor. A sale is between the buyer and the vendor, with Shopydash providing the marketplace, payment coordination, inspection, support, and dispute processes described in the app.
Accounts and verification
- Use one account for yourself, keep your sign in details confidential, and notify support if you suspect unauthorised use.
- Provide accurate name, email, phone, university, campus area, profile, and payout information. Do not impersonate another person or create an account for someone else without permission.
- Keep listings, prices, availability, store information, and delivery or pickup details current.
- Shopydash may restrict, suspend, or close an account when information is false, verification fails, a user is unsafe, or these terms or applicable law are breached.
Vendor responsibilities
- List only products and services that you are allowed to sell. Use truthful photos, descriptions, condition, quantity, price, and availability.
- Do not list stolen, counterfeit, unsafe, illegal, restricted, or misleading goods, or use another person’s content without permission.
- Respond to buyers, prepare accepted orders, and follow the pickup, delivery, inspection, cancellation, and dispute steps shown in your dashboard.
- Provide accurate bank details in your own name or an account you are authorised to use. Anchor may verify the account before payout.
- Do not move a Shopydash transaction off platform to avoid a fee, safety check, inspection, or dispute process.
Buyer responsibilities
- Review the listing, price, condition, seller information, delivery or pickup choice, and total shown before paying.
- Use accurate checkout and delivery information, be available for the agreed handoff, and do not claim a false delivery or product issue.
- Keep conversations respectful and use the in app order or dispute tools when you need help.
- Report a damaged, incorrect, or not as described item immediately. Shopydash carries out a strict inspection and reviews the report. If a return is approved, current handling is targeted within one day of the report.
Listings, messages, and acceptable use
You keep ownership of content you submit, but you give Shopydash permission to host, display, resize, moderate, and use it as needed to operate and promote the marketplace. You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit it.
- Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, threats, spam, unauthorised advertising, scraping, account sharing, or attempts to bypass security.
- Do not upload malware, private information belonging to another person, or content that violates law or another person’s rights.
- Do not interfere with the app, payment flow, webhooks, messages, ratings, listings, or another user’s account.
We may remove content, hold an order, or preserve records when needed for safety, moderation, an investigation, a dispute, or legal compliance.
Orders, payment, escrow, and payout
An order is created when the checkout flow confirms the order and payment status. Prices, applicable platform or payment costs, delivery charges, and the checkout total are shown before you confirm payment. A vendor may be charged the commission or other amount shown for that order.
Payments are processed through Anchor or another payment service presented in the app. Shopydash does not receive or store your full card details through its own database. Payment confirmation, escrow status, refund status, and payout records may be retained to operate the order.
Buyer funds may be held while the vendor fulfils the order and while delivery, pickup, inspection, cancellation, or dispute handling is completed. Vendor payout is released only when the order becomes eligible under the status and review rules in the app. A payout may be held, reversed, refunded, or reviewed where the order, payment, or dispute requires it.
Cancellation, returns, refunds, and disputes
Cancellation and refund options depend on the order status, delivery or pickup flow, and whether payout has started. Use the order controls in the app or contact support as soon as an issue appears.
For a product issue, Shopydash may request information, inspect the item, contact the vendor, coordinate a return, freeze a payout, or issue a refund where the review supports it. We do not promise a refund for a change of mind, misuse, or an issue that is not supported by the listing and inspection record.
Shopydash’s review decision may consider messages, listing information, order events, delivery or pickup records, images, and inspection findings. Do not submit false evidence or attempt to obtain more than one recovery for the same issue.
Fees and vendor earnings
Any commission, payment cost, delivery charge, or other amount that applies to an order is displayed in the relevant checkout or vendor breakdown. The exact amount shown for that order controls. We may change future fees by updating the service or giving notice where required, but a completed order is not retroactively repriced.
Vendor earnings are not guaranteed. They depend on listing quality, buyer demand, fulfilment, cancellations, disputes, payment status, applicable fees, and successful payout processing.
Intellectual property
Shopydash and its software, branding, design, text, graphics, and platform features belong to Shopydash or its licensors. These terms give you a limited, personal, non transferable permission to use the service for its intended purpose. Do not copy, reverse engineer, resell, frame, or create a competing service from the platform without written permission.
Disclaimers and limits
The service is provided as available. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, continuous listings, a particular sales result, delivery time, product quality, or that every user or vendor will behave properly.
To the extent allowed by law, Shopydash is not responsible for indirect loss, lost opportunity, lost profit, or loss caused by information a user supplied, a vendor’s product or conduct, a payment provider, network failure, or events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms removes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using the service and ask support about account closure. Some information may remain where needed for an active order, dispute, refund, fraud prevention, financial record, or legal obligation.
We may change, pause, or discontinue parts of the service, update these terms, or restrict access to protect users and the marketplace. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date and may be communicated through the app. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to any mandatory consumer or data protection rights that apply to you. Before starting a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
